Polish-born DJ Magdalena 'Magda' Chojnacka spent her formative years growing up in Detroit, where she began a long-running creative partnership with minimal techno mastermind Richie Hawtin. By coincidence, Hawtin was himself based just across the border in Windsor, Ontario – the hometown of Heidi Van Den Amstel. It probably goes without saying that both ladies now live in Berlin, but they'll be co-headlining at Womb on Saturday, when Magda promises to offer a deliciously cool counterpoint to Heidi's more jacking techno mixes.
