Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno

Sat Aug 27, 2011 Club Goodman

Time Out says

Keeping track of the activities of Acid Mothers Temple can be a real mission: the Nagoya psych rock collective boast no less than six different incarnations, and further muddy the waters by releasing about a dozen CDs every year. The Cosmic Inferno is the group's hardest rocking permutation, combining AMT mainstays Makoto Kawabata, Hiroshi Higashi and Koji Shimura with bassist Mitsuru Tabata (of Zeni Geva and Amazon Saliva fame) and ex-Afrirampo drummer Pika. In what can only be seen as a welcome addition to the fray, this Tokyo gig will also feature 'love pole dance' by Kasumi Hiraoka – because what's not to love about pole dancing? Osaka psych rockers Iviza support.
