Capturing sides of Tokyo that 'inspire curiosity or discomfort', hotly tipped photog Yoshinori Mizutani made serious waves with his past two series – the socially conscious 'Colors' and the playful 'Tokyo Parrots' – so this latest exhibit at Roppongi's Ima Concept Store should also make for intriguing viewing. Now turning his focus to the yusurika mosquitoes that inhabit the city's waterways and ponds, Mizutani has reflected strobe lights off the insects, creating mysterious, alien-looking shots that can also be checked out in his new photo book, on shelf from September 11.
