Yoshitake Yamane: Against the Looming Adversity

Fri Jun 5 - Wed Jun 10, 2015 Commune

Time Out says

Born in 1990, illustrator Yoshitake Yamane never experienced the Showa era, but that hasn't stopped him from creating an imaginary, cartoonish version of Japan's headier days in the '70s and '80s. Take a look at his energetic pieces at Daita's Commune gallery, where the young rebel puts his anger, despair and determination on display in early June.
