Lee Kan Kyo: Dream Ano Ko

Tue Jan 13 - Thu Jan 29, 2015 Guardian Garden

Time Out says

Idol culture, and the media's production and reproduction of the concept of 'idolhood', is at the centre of award-winning graphic artist Lee Kan Kyo's perceptive work, which occasionally takes rather surprising forms. For a perfect example, check out his 'Dream Ano Ko' ('Dream That Girl') exhibition, featuring an installation of 13 life-size 'huggable pillows' with idol themes, along with a look at some of Lee's previous creations. Find the social criticism embedded in these colourful pieces at Ginza's Guardian Garden gallery.
