Future Shorts Winter Season 2013

Held in 60 countries and 160 cities, Future Shorts Festival brings the best in short film to audiences around the world. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this winter, the event includes art installations and live performances before the screenings, adding to its experimental flavour. Here's a taste of the film offerings, selected from renowned film festivals and screened with both English and Japanese subtitles:

THAT I'M FALLING? (France, 2013, 15 min) Emerge from the underground in search of a seed in Eduardo Williams' 'Que Je Tombe Tout le Temps'.

BUZKASHI BOYS (Afghanistan, 2011, 27 min) Sam French invites you to join in the world of Afghanistan’s 'Buzkashi Boys' to see a coming of age story involving two best friends.
