Labi Shinjuku Higashiguchi-kan

Labi – the ‘city’ version of the ‘country’ electronics chain Yamada Denki – was opened on April 16, 2010 just a three-minute walk from Shinjuku Station’s East exit. This is the tenth store to open in Tokyo. The store spans the second basement floor to the seventh floor of the building, with the layout designed with female customers in mind (for example by keeping shelves at eye level). In addition, to the usual range of electronics, they also stock beauty-related appliances, make-up and there is even a special corner where decorations for mobile phone are sold. The second basement floor stocks food, clothing and other goods and connects straight through to Shinjuku Subnade Arcade. Directly across from the outlet on Yasukuni Dori is Kabukicho, one of Japan’s most notable nightlife districts.
