Review

This kushiyaki shop is located in the Shimofuri shopping street (shotengai), about a five minute walk from Komagome station. As well as the usual yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), this place also sells a pork version, all for ¥110 a stick. When you make you order the staff will re-heat the skewers so they are served to you piping hot. We recommend kawa ninniku (garlic skin) skewers at ¥120 each. Each skewer consists of 5 or 6 bits of chicken skin, each wrapped around a clove of garlic. This is sure to make quite an impact on your taste buds – great if you need some stamina, but you might be better to hold back if you have a meeting or a date afterwards.
