Review

Good Szechuan cuisine, albeit with the spices toned down for Japanese palates, from chef Shin Kenichi, best known for his appearances in the Iron Chef TV cooking shows. His classic dish is mapo-dofu (spicy minced meat with tofu), but in summer, queues form for his hiyashi chuka, chilled Chinese-style noodles and chopped vegetables topped with sesame or vinegar sauce.
