Review

Looking suspiciously like a candy shop at first sight, Gifuya is actually a tobacco specialist in business since 1949. Strategically located right next to a high school on the north side of Araiyakushi-mae Station, it also sells old-school snacks, figurines, comic books and vinyl records, making the store a treasure chest for those in search of a little Showa nostalgia. Despite the focus on smokes, kids are allowed to come in even without parent supervision.
