Review

Looking at this refurbished single-storey house from the outside, you’d never imagine the intimate and mysterious wine bar hidden within. It’s managed by Chika, a working Kagurazaka Geisha, and is decked out in her favourite colours of red and black. Situated in an alley off the top of Kagurazaka Street, it’s a real hideaway and is rather difficult to find on the first visit. The menu focuses on wine and no food is served, but Chika is often there in her kimono and many regulars gather to just to chat with her.
