Review

This second-hand emporium was founded in 1932, and is laid out in a showroom style, differentiating it from your average book shop. If you call ahead with the book you’re interested in or even just your general preferences, staff will put together a selection of recommendations for your arrival. In addition to Western classics and other famous works, it caters for researchers and research institutions. You’ll find academic publications and dissertations collected from Western universities, particularly those in America and Canada, but also Britain, Australia and France. There is also an online service with access to American and European newspapers.
