Review

If you’re looking for Western-style tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), this is your place. It’s prepared expertly and simply by the chef Motoshiro Saito of Shunkoutei in Akasaka. As well as the famously tender (and not overwhelmingly oily) tonkatsu, Fritz also cooks a lot of other Western-style dishes – stewed ox tongue is popular. It’s a perfect place for a glass of wine, a quick à la carte bite or a full three-course meal.
