The Chocolate Gateaux donut served at Neyn takes things up a notch. The dough itself is good, if unremarkable, so the trick here is in the icing. A delicious, light chocolate coat, shot through with deftly flavoured choc chunks that offset the taste of their surroundings; there's a creativity at work here that is nothing short of masterly.
