The artists and designers are creating for Japan, with proceeds heading north

We can't vouch for how this will turn out, but we like the idea plenty. A collective of Japan-based writers are calling for submissions for a planned eBook, the deadline for which is March 27. 'We welcome travel stories, humor pieces, essays, translations from Japanese or other languages, interviews, profiles (of people or places) or other non-fiction work' - all with a Japan theme, of course - says the website. Once on sale, the proceeds will head north.
