Some bands' popularity endures on the gig circuit long after they've run out of new ideas. Such is the case with Asian Dub Foundation, whose politicised fusion of Bhangra, dub, punk and drum 'n'bass has long since lost its radical lustre. But if new album A History of Now doesn't bring much to the table that they haven't tried before, it's also loaded with tracks that should work like catnip on a live audience. Don't be surprised if this month's tour serves as a warm-up for a main-stage festival appearance over the summer. Support comes courtesy of The Qemists, a group who owe much to the sonic template mapped out by ADF.
