Ajinomoto Stadium Flea Market

Good for...
Keeping out of the wind

What, where and why
Regularly hosting upwards of 800 stalls, this event can lay some claim to being one of Japan’s biggest regular flea markets. There’s an unusual 1,000 yen entrance fee, but given its walled surroundings (it’s in a stadium carpark), it might be worth splashing out for the wind protection - a deal breaker, surely, in these arctic temperatures.

Next event: 10am-4pm, January 23
