Already home to a superb collection of Impressionist art, Hakone's Pola Museum is teaming up with the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo for this exhibition devoted to the work of Claude Monet and his contemporaries. Subtitled Innovation in ‘19th Century French Landscape Paintings’, the show features 36 pieces by Monet, which are supplemented by works from the likes of Manet and Picasso.
