Located close to the Osanbashi ship terminal, this museum is housed in the former Yokohama City Telephone Exchange building, constructed in 1929. The exhibitions tell the story of how Yokohama became the city it is today, touching on everything from urban planning and culture to the everyday of life of ordinary citizens.
