Media Ambition Tokyo

In what seems suspiciously like an attempt to cash in on the Japan Media Arts Festival show over at the National Art Center, Tokyo, Roppongi Hills is hosting a similarly themed event of its own over the same weekend. Perfume collaborators Rhizomatiks will be showing off a nifty interactive installation in Roppongi Hills Arena and you can see an exhibition by TeamLab in the 52nd floor Sky Gallery (both Feb 15-17), but the highlight looks set to be this live/DJ event at Mado Lounge on Friday evening, where noted multimedia guru-musicians Daizaburo Harada, Masakatsu Takagi (pictured) and Open Reel Ensemble rub shoulders with clubland veterans like Towa Tei and Moodman.
