In a novel protest against the police crackdown on all-night dance parties, a hundred-odd DJs are playing back-to-back in a non-stop, week-long, 168-hour session at a café in Shibuya this week. Big Joint Tokyo got underway at noon on Christmas Day and won't finish until midday on January 1 – well, assuming that the police don't take umbrage and try to shut it down before that. Chances are you won't have heard of many of the DJs taking part, but it's worth checking the timetable on the official website just in case.
Open December 25-January 1
