Evidently Kyoichi Tsuzuki is a kinkier fellow than we'd realised. The veteran photographer – whose work has been featured in these pages recently – is putting some erotic objets from his personal collection on display at the Shinjuku-za, at it looks like the exhibition more than merited its over-18s rating. 'Shinjuku Sex Museum' features life-size figures recovered from Toba's SF Miraikan, an infamous – and gratuitously explicit – shrine of erotic futurism that was razed over a decade ago. And as if that wasn't enough, each Saturday of the exhibition (January 5 excluded) will feature an 'official zombie bar', where gallery-goers can pay ¥500 to get themselves an undead makeover. Strange times indeed.
