Time Out says

Rinko Kawauchi's most recent book, Illuminance, earned her a place on the shortlist for this year's Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, whose judges praised her 'ability to turn the mundane into the extraordinary and poetic'. That ability should be in evidence during this major solo exhibition, which includes images from Illuminance and Kawauchi's two most recent series, Ametsuchi and Seeing Shadow, with the photographer's trademark medium-format images complemented by video and enormous, two-metre large format prints.
