Gaienmae's World Breakfast Allday, which features morning treats from all over the globe on a bi-monthly basis, now heads to northern Africa for September and October. Serving up a morning plate highlighting Moroccan cuisine, which mixes indigenous, Arabic and Mediterranean elements, the restaurant cooks up exotic delicacies such as msemen crepes and Berber-style baghrir pancakes, plus tomato-based omelette cooked in a tagine pot and salads with ample herbs. Wash it all down with some traditional mint tea, best combined with a sweet cake or some other Moroccan dessert. Autumn may be the season for big-time food festivals in Tokyo, but this one should not be forgotten either – especially as it also includes Moroccan cooking classes and other related events.
