Ikebukuro's Sunshine Aquarium invites you to pretend you're in the tropics with this beer garden set up on the facility's terrace, but that goal may be complicated by the spritzy penguins swimming around in the 'aqua ring' above your head. The grub isn't helping things either – expect fried noodles and hamburg bowls – while the Hawaiian-style fire dance performances (Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and 8pm) should at least provide some spectacle.
