No need to despair if you couldn't afford a trip out of Japan during Golden Week: Hawaiian restaurant Aloha Table takes you to the tropics right in the middle of Ikebukuro with this beer garden, serving all the barbecued food, fruity cocktails and decadent desserts you'll need to make the most of the hot Tokyo summer. There are also plans for gigs, performances and other events from May onward, while similar beer gardens will also be opened on other Parco rooftops across town.
