Featuring 150 pieces from the vast collection assembled by founder Soetsu Yanagi, the Japan Folk Crafts Museum's spring exhibit pursues the trendy theme of 'kawaii' as expressed in everyday craftsmanship (mingei). Selected by Naoto Fukasawa, the facility's director and an accomplished product designer, the works are of the loveable and attractive kind suitable for all audiences.
