Nujabes Eternal Soul

Five years after Jun Seba lost his life in a road accident, the Japanese music scene (not to mention an increasing number of overseas listeners) is still mourning the loss of its own J Dilla. Friends and collaborators of the hip-hop producer better known as Nujabes will be gathering at Liquidroom on the anniversary of his death to commemorate his passing – and his dazzling legacy. There'll be sets from local producers and beatmakers including Shing02, DJ Chika and DJ Kou, plus appearances by overseas names like Cise Starr, Fat Jon, Funky DL and Pase Rock.
