Demitasse Cosmos

Sat Feb 7 - Sun Apr 5, 2015 Mitsui Memorial Museum

Time Out says

On the spectrum of all the crazy things people accumulate, coffee cups perhaps aren't the most attention-grabbing collectibles. Still, Mr and Mrs Suzuki's 300-piece collection, assembled over a period of 40 years, just might be worth its own exhibition – this exhibition. Focusing especially on demitasse, i.e. espresso cups, the display lays bare the full diversity of shapes, designs and colours available in the world of Joe-specific drinkware.
