The prodigious Mr Bugg is quickly becoming something of a rock 'n' roll hero for the post-Oasis generation. His 2013 album Shangri-La, midwifed by legendary producer Rick Rubin, brought forth an adoring response internationally, and fans in Japan quickly began to hope that this fame would lead to a Tokyo date.
