This Italian restaurant is located a fifteen-minute walk from JR Ogikubo station – just look for a red sign hanging outside an old building. Opening 33 years ago, Piemonte is a pioneer in Italian food in Japan. In the kitchen is chef Hiroo Kawashima, who previously worked as the executive chef for many years at Restaurant Azabu. The restaurant, which seats about ten people, is run by Kawashima and his wife, both in their seventies. They serve food rich in flavour that is just like what you would expect if you were in Italy.
