Restaurants & Cafés

Review

Established in 1983 and serving up Chinese home-style cooking, Nihao has seven restaurants located mainly in Kamata, Ota Ward. Their gyoza, which are completely handmade according to traditional Chinese methods from the wrapper to the filling inside, are a popular selling item. A lot of detail goes into making them including using a different wrapper depending on whether they will be grilled or boiled. As of 2009 one plate of ‘hane tsuki gyoza’ costs ¥300. These gyoza get raving reviews for their combination of crispiness and chewiness. Take a bite and enjoy the juiciness of the filling made from specially selected pork, Chinese cabbage and long green onions. Chinese fried rice comes in small, medium and large servings and customers can choose their desire level of spiciness.
