Review

Japan may be relatively new to the wine-producing party, but it’s already creating some impressive plonk. Shinjuku's Jip Wine Bar serves homegrown wine by the glass from a rotating list of 20, accompanied by a selection of nicely presented European-style dishes. You'll find 400 bottles in the adjacent wine shop, which you can drink right there for an additional corkage charge of ¥1,500.
