11 Tokyo fundraisers this weekend: 9

Venerable noise, improv and weird-pop night Obake Yashiki reaches its 30th installment this weekend with a special fundraiser starring avant-blues duo Medicine Bone, who are giving their final performance before guitarist/vocalist Ken Shima moves back to the States. It looks set to be an off-kilter evening, with other attractions ranging from solo hurdy-gurdy to what the promoter describes as 'homemade instruments plus intense dance dynamics.' Oh, and a group called Atomic Cock Bombs. Who could ask for anything more? All proceeds will be going to quake relief.
