Noh x Contemporary Music

Ensemble-No, founded by Ryoko Aoki, has been presenting this talk and concert series entitled Noh x Contemporary Music since 2010. The aim of the series is to create new pieces for the noh voice by commissioning international composers, and so far the ensemble has premiered 15 pieces in this series. This latest concert will be developed on works from the previous series, and Ryoko will perform her repertoire from Noh x Contemporary Music 2010-2012 in a one-night concert featuring new music by Japanese composer Noriko Koide.
