Time Out says

The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo is celebrating its 60th anniversary by turning over its entire premises to this exhibition showcasing developments in the past century of Japanese art. Split into two parts, Art Will Thrill You! starts with a trawl through MOMAT's collection, including 13 pieces that have been designated Important Cultural Properties of Japan (an honour conferred on just 51 post-Meiji Era artworks). The second half of the show focuses on the 1950s, one of the most fertile periods for the country's modern art scene.
