It'll take more than a sexy nurse outfit from Don Quijote to impress the judges at Ageha's main Halloween bash, where the winner(s) of the costume contest stand to take home an impressive ¥300,000 prize. Unsurprisingly, the competition is granted a starring role in the night's proceedings, as individual and group entrants perform meticulously rehearsed stage routines for the audience (turn up – in costume – between 9-10pm if you want to register to take part). There's a separate photo contest with a trip to Guam up for grabs, and even that Don Quijote costume will earn you half-price entry on the door. And the music? With M-Flo's Taku Takahashi, Dexpistols and Mitomi Tokoto manning the decks, it looks like it'll be leaning heavily on the electro.
