During the late ’90s and early noughties, Basement Jaxx’s anthemic, colourful house ruled the airwaves and the clubs with its impossibly catchy choruses. After a few direction changes, Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton returned to the spotlight last summer with Junto, their long-awaited seventh album that felt like the duo are back to doing what they know best.
