Time Out says

Shomei Tomatsu, Eikoh Hosoe and Ikko Narahara brought Japanese photography out from the shadow of World War II and into a new, experimental and ambitious era. Narahara in particular emerged as a sharp observer of modern Japan and its extremities, as evidenced by his 1958 series 'Domains' (Okoku). That investigation of a Hokkaido monastery and a women's prison in Wakayama is the focus of this exhibition, which consists of 87 prints from the 1978 version of the monograph. Now's a great time to rediscover this career-making masterpiece and dig deeper into the work of one of Japan's finest photo artists.
