Drawing on a wide variety of classical theatre works, this event is themed on the traditional play 'Dojoji', and features Japanese dance and traditional music. 'Living National Treasures' and spirited young performers meet under one roof, with performances including dance by Senzo Nishikawa, nagauta shamisen music by Masataro Imafuji and shinnai-bushi shamisen music by Nakasaburo Shinnai. Renowned Japanese theatre critic Tamotsu Watanabe will also be making an appearance. This collaboration between skilled veterans and lively young talent should not be missed.
