With origins in early-1900s European surrealism, ‘moving art’ reached a high point in the heady 1960s with works by artists like Franco Grignano and Takis Vassilakis. See a selection of 90 representative kinetic pieces, including motor-powered sculptures, trick works and optical illusions, at this exhibition that’s the first of its kind in Japan.
