Review

Long one of the most neglected corners of Shibuya, Miyashita Park had become a magnet for homeless people before it was controversially redeveloped by Nike, with new facilities including a skate park and climbing wall. The overhauled park (plans to rename it 'Nike Park' were ultimately dropped) reopened in April 2011, and seems to have been well received by the city's skaters; the fate of its former residents, however, remains less clear.
