Tokyo's strangest vending machines: Ginza, toys

10 vended things to make you go hmmm...

Ginza: Toys

Toy panda, 3,000 yen

Hakuhinkan Toy Park is on the corner of a busy intersection of Ginza 8-Chome, where Chuo Dori meets the expressway. The shop is overflowing with toys of every size, color and stripe, but you don't even need to go inside to buy one. Simply walk around to the back of the building, to the side opposite the main entrance, and you'll find a toy vending machine that dispenses items including soft toys, board games, sweets and dolls from rows of large boxes. Yes, even when the shop is closed, you can still buy a last-minute gift for junior, 24 hours a day.

Location: Go out of Shimbashi Station’s exit 1 and head towards Ginza. Once you have passed under the expressway, you’ll see it on Chuo Dori
