This natto (fermented soybeans) vending machine stands outside the Yamanashi-born specialty shop Natto Kobo Sendaiya in Ikejiri-Ohashi. Sendaiya sell various kinds of natto in packs, as well as all sorts of related foodstuffs, such as natto-furikake (seasoning for rice), amanatto (sweetened azuki beans) and even natto doughnuts. So it’s not surprising that they’ve even put a natto vending machine outside. In Yamanashi, you can find Sendaiya's machines even in places where they don't have shops, but in Tokyo you'll need to make a beeline for the company's Ikejiri-Oshashi and newly opened Shimokitazawa locations.
Location: Go out of the west exit of Ikejiri-Ohashi Station. Head in the direction of Sangenjaya, and before long you should be able to spot it in front of Natto Kobo Sendaiya
