Let no one say they don't know how to have a good time in Brooklyn. Kingdom is one of a loose network of NYC DJs and producers who have taken the bass-heavy sounds of the UK garage and dubstep scenes and laced them with shards of juke, kuduro and Latin beats, to delirious effect. After establishing his name with a string of genre-flouting DJ mixes, Kingdom made his debut as a producer last year, with the well-received Mind Reader and That Mystic EPs. He arrives in town to mark the first anniversary of Mishka Tokyo, the Japanese outpost of the NYC street fashion brand, and representatives of the capital's underground bass scene will be out in force for the occasion.
