Time Out says: All is not as it seems in this song, which opens with an odd roller skating-meets-sushi bar-meets-pagoda incident in Shinjuku. While you might assume that the girl in question is the object of the singer's affections, the more you listen to the song the more it occurs that this may actually be nothing other than an ode to raw fish and rice. We find it strange, too, that the singer struggles to rhyme 'sushi' with 'mushi mushi', even though it's essentially the same sound.
