Time Out says

In the spirit of the 2020 Olympic bid, Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium will be throwing its doors open to sporty cheapskates for a free day of exercise. On September 8 – the day after the big decision is announced – it will be providing free access to its pool, training room, and track and field facilities. Let's just hope the bid's a success, or it could be a rather sombre workout.
