Think you know Harajuku and Omotesando? This month-long promotion by the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau's Tokyo Fan Club encourages overseas visitors to delve deeper into one of the capital's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Get discounts at participating shops and restaurants, go on a rubber stamp hunt, take a free guided tour of the local fashion hotspots or take part in a traditional Japanese craft workshop. And as an added bonus, there'll be free WiFi in the Omotesando area throughout the event (just look for the Omo-Free logo). See the website for details about what's going on, or pick up an official guidebook at the Tokyo Fan Week information desk inside the main entrance of Omotesando Hills.
