If the media hullabaloo surrounding the launch of 2012's Beaujolais Nouveau left you gritting your teeth, here's some sweet release. Already popular amongst in-the-know oenophiles, the annual Festivin event moves to Shibuya's Hikarie this year, with an expanded range of 300 natural wines from France, Italy and other European countries, plus a selection of homegrown varieties. The ticket price covers all the chemical-free plonk you can drink and includes a tasting glass and holder; there's also food available for purchase, courtesy of 50-odd restaurants and wine bars from around the country, plus live entertainment including Malian multi-instrumentalist Mamadou Doumbia and exotica band Black Velvets.
