Urufesu: The Ultraman Festival

Fri Jul 22 - Sun Aug 28, 2011 Sunshine City

Time Out says

The Ultraman Festival ('Urufesu' to those in the know) holes up at Sunshine City for more than a month, and with five live performances each day in which the eponymous hero battles rubber monsters onstage for 30 minutes at a time, it's really the actors we feel sorry for. Still, no kid worth the salt those actors sweat out would want to miss this, and - as it's now in its 21st year - we imagine you'll find plenty of grown men in the audience reliving happy childhood memories. Altogether now: Shuwatch!
